MARIE BALIK, 100, of Spillville, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at Wellington Place Nursing Home in Decorah, Mass of Christian Burial is at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic church in Spillville, with Father Robert Gross presiding. Burial is in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Spillville, with a rosary at 4 and a scripture service at 7. There also isvisitation after 9:30 Saturday, at the church. Marie is survived by her four children: Jim Balik, Spillville, Bill (Janell) Balik, Burnsville, Minn., Ann (Bob) Smith, Bloomington, Minn. and Betty (John) Sender, Cold Spring, Minn.
