Lorraine Williams, 81, of Overland Park, Kan. (formerly of Kansas City, Mo.), died April 4, 2016, after a sudden illness.
Lorraine was born June 25, 1934, to William and Agnes Shimek on the family farm near Calmar. She was a homemaker and caregiver. Lorraine enjoyed animals, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Lorraine is survived by her husband of 57 years, Vincel; three children: Scott (Susan) Williams, Germantown, Md.; Dawn (Steven) Leach, Smithsburg, Md.; and Wendy (Roy) Wagner, Warrensburg, Mo.; brother, William (Jayne) Shimek, Decorah; seven grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marion Bothmer; and brothers, Arnold Shimek and Jerome Shimek.
