Jason Neuman

Jason Neuman passed away unexpectedly Sept. 6, 2015. A Celebration of Life for Jason is Saturday, Oct. 10, from 3 to 7 p.m., at Good Fellas in Waukon. All are welcome.

Jason was born Oct. 13, 1979,  in Torrance, Calif., to Bruce and Karen Neuman. He lived in California until 1987, when he and his mom moved to Dorchester. Jason attended to both Dorchester and Waukon schools. After high school he lived in various parts in the tri-state area, and two years in Austin Texas. Eventually coming back to Dorchester where he resided till his passing. Jason had many hobbies and passions. He was an avid collector of anything “Simpson” and Nintendo, he lived for music, and he enjoyed spending much of his time outdoors camping, hiking, traveling, fishing and canoeing. He was also a star in the kitchen, constantly crafting new creations for anyone to try. Jason had a beautiful soul, he was an amazing son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be forever be missed and loved.

Jason is survived by his mother and step-father, Karen and Steve Schwartzhoff; step-mother, Kathy Neuman; two grandmothers, Jerry Neuman and Sara Chadwick; grandfather, Donald Schwartzhoff; sister, Krystal (Nick) Sultze; nephew, Kaleb Kruse; two brothers, Shane Schwartzhoff and Jordan (Brittany) Neuman; two nieces, Haley and Kiley Neuman; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins; and countless amazing friends.

Jason is preceded in death by his father, Bruce Neuman; grandfather, Robert Keller; grandmother, Shirley Schwartzhoff; and uncle, Robert “Tiger” Keller.
