Gary Ames, age 84, of Calmar, passed away Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin, Minnesota.
A private graveside service will be held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in McGregor.
Celebration of Life will be held at Pivo Brewery 101 Huber Dr. Calmar, IA 52132, on Dec. 13, 2024, from 2 to 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome to wear their Iowa Hawkeye apparel in memory of Gary.
Helms Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
