Arlene I. (Sorenson) Larson, age 87, of Decorah, hit the celestial trail on August 21, 2024, at Aase Haugen Senior Services. Her daughters were present to provide hugs and help pack her snackle box.
Funeral Service will be held at Decorah Lutheran Church, on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 1 p.m., with Rev. Peter Kowitz presiding. Burial will follow at Canoe Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at Decorah Lutheran.
A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 7 p.m., at All Vets Club (VFW Post 1977), 104 State Street, Decorah, Iowa.
Helms Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
