Luren Singers host Sangerfest June 8

The Luren Singers are the host chorus for Sangerfest this June in Decorah.

Sangerfest has been a biennial tradition in the Upper Midwest since 1898.

Admission to the Grand Concert is free for everyone who would like to hear men from several Norwegian-American choruses sing together on the stage of the Center for Faith and Life at Luther College on Saturday, June 8 at 7 p.m.

Rachel Storlie, soprano, is the guest artist.

The Northern Lights Chorale is also appearing. Conductors are Dr. David Judisch, Ed Kramer, Linda Svanoe and Rachael Buresh. Chris Hadley is the Sangerfest pianist, Phil Iversen plays trumpet, and Ken Michaels is a tenor soloist.

All are welcome.
