DMS “Water to Thrive” a success

Decorah Middle School 7th graders left school May 17, and walked to the Upper Iowa River to gather and carry water. The walk was in celebration of a successful “Water to Thrive” fundraiser.

The City of Decorah is notifying residents that Pleasant Avenue will now be closed to thru traffic on Thursday, May 18, instead of Wednesday, May 17, for paving operations. Depending on the weather, the closure may extend into Friday, May 19.
