Decorah Chorale auditions Jan. 11

The Decorah Chorale, an adult mixed chorus with members from Northeast Iowa and Southeast Minnesota, will hold auditions for new singers interested in joining for the spring term. Auditions will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, between 9 to 11 a.m. in the Decorah High School choir room on a first-come, first-served basis.

Decorah Library earns grant

Decorah Public Library is one of just 100 public libraries nationwide awarded funding by the Public Library Association (PLA) to increase digital literacy. The grant supports public libraries in their work of improving basic digital skills among families and communities.

Organizers said the hands-on program promises a blend of winter fun and physical activity, featuring activities such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and sledding (weather permitting).

Cast announced for ‘Dr. Doolittle the Musical’
